I’m Oliver.
I work across marketing, operations and business development. I’ve moved between a global organisation, technology startups and independent client businesses, adapting to different teams, industries and priorities. I like getting to grips with an unfamiliar problem, understanding what matters to the people involved and finding a practical way forward.
My background combines analytical thinking with hands-on execution. That might mean researching a market, refining customer messaging, building a content pipeline or helping a team share information more effectively. I’m comfortable working with technical, commercial and creative stakeholders, translating between their perspectives and keeping the business goal in view.
At NOMINIS, I took on day-to-day marketing ownership, connecting research, messaging and campaign coordination with sales outreach. At Twine Security, I combined content and brand work with competitor research, marketing operations and event support.
My years at Apple brought together customer service, technical problem-solving, employee training and corporate B2B work. Understanding customers, diagnosing problems and helping others learn taught me to communicate clearly and follow through, whether I was repairing a device or designing training for business partners.
I hold degrees in medical science and interaction design. Both shaped how I approach problems: look closely, ask useful questions, test assumptions and make the result understandable to the people using it.
As a freelance consultant, I work across marketing, brand, content, websites and production. Projects have included Behaiya, Mystic Medicine and the QiMD Podcast, which I worked on from 2023–2025, along with a range of smaller branding and website projects. That work has involved managing production from the initial idea through to finished digital and print assets.
My personal projects give me a place to test ideas for business tools. I’ve built a task and team dashboard and interactive planning tools, and developed daily and financial briefs. Samples are available on my experience page. I’m interested in how AI-assisted workflows could optimize work flows and turn research into useful summaries, support recurring reporting and make priorities and handoffs clearer across a team.
